They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Would you buy again?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
